Other signs can be excessive daytime sleepiness, choking or stopping of breathing during sleep.

Sleep Apnoea is diagnosed with a study called Polysomnography (PSG) which can cost up to £1500 or up to a two year waiting list on the NHS. However 30% of people who are sent for a study prove to be negative which is causing a delay in the sufferers gaining effective treatment. For a long time there has been a need for a subjective tool that is aimed at the screening of mass population.
